Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a strategic Associate Director, Procurement Program Management to join our high-performing Procurement team! This established role reports to the Director of Indirect Procurement and plays a meaningful role in driving program management excellence across Chewy’s sourcing and procurement ecosystem. You will lead a team and be accountable for building scalable, enterprise-level capabilities that support strategic procurement priorities. As a key enabler of operational excellence and transparency, in this role you will be responsible for leading high-impact initiatives including Quarterly Business Review (QBR) program development for senior leaders and the creation and improvement of enterprise-wide Procurement policies. Strong communication—both verbal and written—is essential, as this role requires frequent interaction with executive partners and ownership of senior leadership communications, including whitepapers and strategic memos.

As the Associate Director, Procurement Program Management, you will serve as a trusted partner across Legal, Finance, Operations, and Sourcing teams to ensure flawless execution and compliance across Chewy’s Procurement function. What You'll Do:
- Lead the Procurement Program Management Office (PMO), responsible for driving cross-functional alignment, governance, and structured execution of initiatives across Real Estate, Facilities, Fulfillment Center, Transportation, and G&A sourcing verticals
- Manage and develop a team responsible for program delivery, project tracking, risk mitigation, and leadership reporting
- Design, implement, and continuously improve tools and processes for initiative intake, prioritization, spend management, resource planning, and execution
- Own and evolve the Procurement QBR framework—ensuring data-driven, insight-rich, and actionable reviews with senior leadership and key partners
- Lead the development, documentation, training, and rollout of scalable procurement policies that support compliance, efficiency, and risk mitigation across sourcing activities
- Develop dashboards, Key Performance Indicators, and reporting tools to monitor progress and performance of procurement initiatives and policy adoption
- Partner closely with Legal and Finance teams on policy alignment, and with operational leaders to ensure successful implementation and change management
- Support planning cycles, business reviews, and organizational development activities within the Procurement team
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
- 8+ years of experience in program management, procurement operations, or sourcing strategy, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with demonstrated experience writing whitepapers and executive-level memos for senior leadership
- Experience in spend data management and reporting
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Suite is preferred
- Experience developing QBR frameworks and policy governance structures at an enterprise level
- Proven success in managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic, high-growth environment
- Solid understanding of procurement systems, contract management, compliance, and operational standard processes
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and engagement skills
- High comfort with data and tools to support executive reporting and performance tracking, experience with Tableau Cloud is preferred
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other project/program management certifications are a plus

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
