Job Description Summary

Responsible for leading project management, purchase order management, customer fulfillment, warehouse logistics, material management, and site operations support for small regional warehouses across North America. This role has impact on team performance, service levels, quality, and on-time delivery objectives.
The position oversees multiple operational streams and drives execution across warehouse and logistics activities, including data integrity, inventory control, material flow, and fulfillment performance. The role requires strong operational judgment, moderate autonomy, and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver results. This position also supports cross-functional initiatives, vendor coordination, and change management efforts to improve operational effectiveness and standardization.

Job Description

What You Will Do

  • Lead customer fulfillment operations and ensure resources are aligned to support forecasted volume and business priorities.

  • Manage fulfillment across multiple order streams, including project orders, unplanned service orders, plannable service streams, transactional sales, and minor and major parts orders.

  • Manage purchase orders to ensure accurate, timely processing and alignment with operational and supply chain requirements.

  • Maintain data integrity in RACES, including order details, parameters, costs, management cost codes, delivery dates, and ETAs.

  • Coordinate strategies and action plans to address critical shortages and support expedite activity with Sourcing and Global Planning.

  • Partner with Global Planning, Sourcing, Engineering, and site teams to improve fulfillment performance and on-time delivery.

  • Recommend inventory levels and advance procurement actions in collaboration with Planning and Sourcing.

  • Monitor on-time delivery metrics and communicate results, actions, and improvement plans to senior leadership.

  • Serve as the fulfillment subject matter expert and escalation point of contact for internal teams outside the Parts organization.

  • Support customer inquiry and issue resolution processes, including execution of signed PRPs, PMPs, and Parts Programs.

  • Work with transportation providers to identify cost-effective shipping solutions for standard and premium shipments.

  • Support financial review and classification of transportation actuals to improve transparency and cost control.

  • Establish and maintain SOPs for inventory control, handling, and storage standards.

  • Drive standard work adoption across warehouse and site storage locations.

  • Lead cross-functional projects with Planning, Purchasing, Sites, and Warehouse & Logistics teams to improve material flow and data accuracy.

  • Manage project schedules, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communications for assigned initiatives.

  • Support change management efforts related to process improvements, tools, and standard work.

  • Identify root causes of performance gaps and implement corrective actions using data analytics and lean tools.

  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including:

    • Inventory accuracy

    • Cycle count compliance

    • Order fulfillment rate

    • Receiving and fulfillment efficiency

    • Standardization of 2-bin systems

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, logistics, or related operational functions

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with Oracle RACES R12 and PLM

  • Experience in warehouse and logistics operations, inventory management, and fulfillment processes

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities

  • Experience working with internal and external vendors and customers

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Experience leading operational improvement or lean transformation initiatives

  • Experience in project management within a manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics environment

  • Familiarity with transportation cost optimization and logistics performance management

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive operational change

  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and change management skills
