Job Summary:

Manufacturing Engineer Interns can expect to learn production operations and the manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment.  They develop manufacturing engineering skills, an understanding of manufacturing (cost, quality, safety and schedule), and Raytheon systems and tools.  MEs build technical depth in manufacturing processes and are accountable for improvement and optimization.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be at least a sophomore by the start of summer 2026 pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with preferred majors in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
• This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their (insert Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post Grad year) by the start of summer 2026.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
