We are seeking a risk consultant to support our Cyber line of business. If you have at least 7 years’ experience working in cyber risk engineering, cyber security, cloud engineering, network engineering, load balancing, or trade intelligence, this role may be a great opportunity! This role will work a hybrid schedule and can be based in our Chicago, Illinois or Alpharetta, Georgia office.

The Impact You Will Have  

Reporting to the Global Head of LoB Risk Consulting Cyber, this role is responsible for providing loss control expertise, support and assistance to AzC and its customers, to assist Allianz underwriting in risk selection and retention. Provide ongoing co-ordination and monitoring of the loss control activity/servicing of assigned accounts & loss control survey work to assist with servicing of assigned accounts. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with Underwriting, Market Management, Communications, Claims, clients and brokers. Maintain and enhance technical skills and expertise in respective field to support the business.                                                                                                                                                                                            

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

  • Complete desk top reviews and risk assessments (pre & post loss) for underwriting evaluating and summarizing exposures and controls.
  • Work with underwriting, claims, the client and the broker where appropriate to develop customized loss control programs including locations to be surveyed (or included as part of continuing service), scope and cost of risk consulting services.
  • Generate and review required reports and recommendations. Meet reporting deadlines in accordance with departmental performance objectives.
  • Survey client operations obtain appropriate data, identify hazards, discuss findings with appropriate parties. Generate loss control reports, recommendations etc.
