Payroll Processor

Non-exempt / Hourly

Reports to HR Director/CFO

This is a full-time position based in Irvine, CA with work from home flexibility

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll for all employees
• Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity
• Assist with payroll audits and compliance reporting
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues

Requirements

• Associates degree in a related field
• Minimum of 3 years payroll processing experience
• Experience in payroll batch processing 
• Initiative to implement Operational Best practices 
• Maintain payroll information and highest levels of confidentiality
• Experience in reporting Payroll information to external agencies
• Experience working in a business setting with multiple revenue generating centers
• Ability to create ad-hoc reporting in Excel and within payroll operating software to reduce processing time
• Must have proficiency in v-lookups, pivot tables, and formatting in Excel  
• Experience using Paylocity or other related HRIS preferred
