FIRST ACADEMY Receptionist and Aide

First Academy is a growing Christian school in Rogers, Arkansas. Housed within First Baptist Rogers, FA is open to PK3-6th grade students with plans to expand to middle and jr. high in forthcoming years.

We are currently accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year.

Education & Experience

• H.S. Diploma (Associates or more preferred)
• Minimum one year office experience
• School experience preferred

Schedule

• Part-time position up to 29 hours per week
• August to May (school schedule)
• Flexible daily schedule

• Credible profession of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ
• Godly character (pastoral and other character references may be required)
• Membership and regular attendance including life group at First Baptist Rogers
• Understanding of the school’s mission
• Teachable and committed to growing, learning, and developing new understanding and skills
• Maturity and emotional stability
• Ability to multitask and serve in multiple areas

Job Responsibilities

• Displays love for God, scripture, and students

• Contributes to a cooperative and collegial atmosphere among teachers and staff

• Respects and upholds school policies and standards delineated in faculty policies, student handbooks, and in faculty training

• Follows Matthew 18:15-17 model for handling conflicts

• Answer phones and receive visitors
• Assist in first-aid, librarian's needs, office filing and organization, and office needs
• Assist teachers and staff with preparation and instruction as needed
• Provide additonal supervision in classrooms, activities, lunch, and recess as needed
• Provide breaks and support for classroom teachers
• Assist in the daily lunch count, ensure lunch is accounted for, and organize ordered lunch program
