Location: This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in Florham Park, New Jersey, United States and not eligible for remote.

 

ADP is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the strategy and vision for the payroll reporting and client communications in our Small Business Payroll product, RUN. In this high-impact role, you will define how millions of users access and interact with critical payroll data, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance while setting the industry standard for user experience.

 

You will drive the product roadmap for features that impact how clients receive essential communications and utilize reporting tools, requiring collaboration across product, engineering, operations, and compliance teams. The ideal candidate balances strategic vision with execution, ensuring that our reporting suites are intuitive, scalable, and leverage modern data visualization techniques.

 

To be successful, you stay close to market trends, anticipate our customers' next questions, and bring new ideas into the mix. You love evangelizing about your product, and you communicate with confidence.

 

To thrive in this role, you must take command of your product, lead multiple team's efforts, and be a deep listener who can ask the right clarifying questions to help understand the problem your stakeholders are trying to solve. You've worked with Agile teams and understand product delivery cycles. You have experience explaining the prioritization of a product roadmap, creating that roadmap, and documenting in a way that both external and internal teams will understand. You have held roles where you regularly communicate and defend ideas to a broad audience of stakeholders technical or non-technical. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

 

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

 

• Strategy & Vision: Define the long-term vision and strategy for all client-facing payroll reporting and internal/external communications platforms.
• Drive Innovation: Lead initiatives to leverage data science and AI for enhanced reporting insights and personalized client communications.
• User-Centric Design: Gather insights to shape requirements for intuitive dashboards, report customization options, and accessible communication channels.
• Execution & Collaboration: Partner with engineering and UX teams to manage the product lifecycle from conception to release using Agile methodologies.
• Ensure Compliance: Work closely with legal and compliance experts to ensure all reporting and communications meet regulatory standards.
• Measure Impact: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for reporting adoption, communication effectiveness, and client satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally within FinTech, HCM, or a related B2B SaaS environment.
