AWS Software Engineer

Leidos National Security Sector’s Engineering, Integration and Operations (EIO) Division is looking for an experienced AWS Software Engineer to support the development and implementation of the Intelligent Logistics Platform (ILP). In this role you will help implement and improve the ILP multi-tenant solution for logistics management using AWS Cloud Console and serverless environment.  As part of a creative, forward-thinking team, you will help shape the future of logistics management and drive insertions of technology into projects. As a Software Engineer, you will work with subject matter experts and the Lead Solution Architect to develop optimal and differentiated Leidos solutions to be delivered on ILP project.  

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with implementation and improvement of the ILP multi-tenant solution for logistics management using AWS Cloud Console and serverless environment.
• Engage colleagues across multiple areas (project managers, other technical resources, etc.) to promote the successful completion of project objectives..
• Support the establishment and maintenance of the ILP Software baseline and management 
• Enhance Leidos best practices, lessons learned, and technological approaches to research, design, and develop innovative solutions

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a virtual team environment
• Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AWS Cloud serverless environments, data integration and aggregation, network, and end-user capabilities highly desired
• Experience with working Government entities desired
• Prior technical roles within similar organizations

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
