Video Editor - Documentary-Style (ZR_18362_JOB)

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Edit both short-form and long-form video content for various platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and potentially TikTok
  

• Collaborate on documentary-style projects, ensuring the emotional tone and narrative arc are preserved
  

• Assist with editing “passion projects” that may include topics such as mental health awareness
  

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing work based on deadlines and urgency
  

• Adapt editing style to suit different content types and platform requirements
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience in video editing, particularly with documentary-style content
  

• Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software
  

• Strong understanding of storytelling through visual media
  

• Familiarity with video specifications for various social media platforms
  

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  

• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
  

Scope:

• Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
  

• Potential for both regular project work and occasional urgent editing needs
