Position Summary

This position is responsible for partnering with business users to create and deploy Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and data self-service solutions. This includes understanding user needs to deliver meaningful dashboards and data insights. Democratize data through data literacy and proper tools The person in this role will also be accountable for supervision/development of the BI Developers & Data Analyst in delivering best in class support of our centers, field and corporate management. Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibility

• Drive Business Intelligence Strategy
• Builds strong relationships with their business partners to understand the business needs and analytical and reporting challenges, and leverages the relationship to identify new opportunities to increase efficiency in both process and understanding through the use of new or existing projects.
• Leads the development of all Business Intelligence projects to the successful and timely outcome that answers the questions posed by Business Partners.
• Drive Data Self-service adoption and maturity.
• Mentor developers/analyst and provide coaching to elevate their competence, confidence, and capabilities.
• Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to identify key performance metrics and build executive-level dashboards that track the progress of the Company’s businesses and high priority initiatives.

Job Responsibilities Cont.

• Uses in-depth knowledge of industry best practices and expertise in data model development, data analytics, and dashboard design to guide cross-functional teams in the development of creative and innovative ways to efficiently and effectively answer critical business questions.
• Manage projects through Scrum agile methodologies
• Guide the User Acceptance testing, project documentation, and deployment processes for all assigned projects, including regularly reoccurring project updates on completion status to project sponsors.
• Ensures all projects adhere to the enterprise design standards for visual design, data governance, and performance, including cross validation of source data, development of routine data quality checks, and performance testing under different enterprise load conditions.
• Work in collaboration with Data Governance & Data Integration teams to improve data quality and reliability.
• Perform ad hoc queries, analysis and reporting as required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering or another relevant field.

Experience Required

9+ years of experience in business intelligence type roles.

4+ years in a leadership/management role

2+ years in Financial Services.

Technologies: SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, AWS, Python, Sigma Computing

Knowledge Required
