About the role

Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

The Associate Director, Distribution Operations, will play a critical role in supporting the successful commercialization of Revolution Medicines' portfolio. This individual will support the development, implementation, and optimization of distribution operational strategies that align with the company's commercial objectives and ensure operational excellence across all products.

This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the operational infrastructure required to support commercialization, executing key distribution initiatives, and driving continuous process improvements. The Associate Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Supply Chain, Patient Services, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial Operations, to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies and compliance with internal and external requirements. This individual will also work closely with functional counterparts for the expertise areas referenced above to manage key reports to inform the business, increase efficiency of daily operations, and develop and implement innovative new initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure success of daily end-to-end distribution of RevMed products with contracted 3PL, Specialty Distributors and Specialty Pharmacies.

  • Oversee assigned contracted distribution partners ensuring all key performance indicators are met and adhere to all contractual and Legal/Regulatory requirements.

  • Proactively identify distribution challenges that impact customer access in collaboration with field-based colleagues to RevMed products and drive to resolution.

  • Monitor and validate accuracy of internally reported data and distributions analytics (e.g., ex-factory sales, demand sales, channel mix, etc.).

  • Monitor partner performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Closely collaborate with channel partners on operational and business issues as they may arise.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development and execution of US Channel & Distribution initiatives.

  • Supportnegotiation and management of distribution and specialty pharmacy agreements tomaximize value for RevMed, patients, and prescribers.

  • Coordinate, as needed, the development and execution of partnership opportunities with key physician networks / GPO’s / PBM’s, etc.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • BA/BS required 10+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry with 5+ years in specialty pharmacy / distribution.

  • Experience supporting Specialty Distributor relationships, including facilitating the new account set-up process and supporting Quarterly Business Reviews.

  • Demonstrated leadership in fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

  • Strong analytical and project management capabilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically and proven track record of driving execution.

  • Broad understanding of regulatory and quality requirements for pharmaceutical products.

  • Able to travel away from home location by air and car for meetings, industry events and other business needs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advance degree (MS, MBA, other).

  • Experience with product launches strongly preferred.

  • Experience with targeted oncology product strongly preferred. 

  • Experience in a smaller, rapidly growing company preferred.   

  • Prior experience managing one of the top three 3PL providers strongly preferred.
