Job Description:The Baylor Athletics Technology Student Worker position is a vital role within the Baylor Athletics Technology team, responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to students, faculty, and staff. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of technology resources within the Baylor Athletics department.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
Receive and release computers for service.
Diagnose and resolve computer software, connectivity, and printing issues.
Respond to inquiries regarding computer hardware, software, printer, and wireless network-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer software applications.
Provide support for applications, networks, and printers.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to clients.
Offer training to faculty, staff, and students on using technology resources.
Assist with checking in/out technology equipment.
Operational Duties:
Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive information and data.
Complete daily tasks such as sending emails, completing inventory, and maintaining equipment.
Perform business operations duties for the assigned area of responsibility.
Assist with various projects, activities, and tasks related to business operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to comply with university policies.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
