Job Description:

Responsible for assisting Discover Payment Services Risk Management and Discover Card in meeting loss and expense objectives by effectively supporting and leading aspects of the Account Data Compromise (ADC) and Common Point of Purchase (CPP) programs. Serve as the primary point of contact on ADC and CPP matters for both internal and external business partners and ensuring all ADC and PCI Forensic Investigation (PFI) cases are reviewed timely to minimize fraud. Lead and support data security detection and mitigation improvements and contribute to industry-wide standards and program development. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee forensic investigations, understand impact, and work with ADC case to provide needed information leveraging knowledge gained from forensics investigations.
• Ensures all account data compromise processes, policies, and programs address the current and evolving industry threats and trends.
• Leads and supports the continuous improvement in detection and mitigation of partner ADCs and timely notification to impacted Issuers; monitors proprietary data models to identify new trends.
• Actively and substantively contribute to industry-wide working groups in the development of security standards and program development.
• Identifies and tracks key performance metrics for measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of account data compromise programs.
• Serves as a primary point of contact to internal and external business partners, law enforcement, forensic investigators, and industry work groups in efforts to detect, investigate, and remediate partner account data compromises.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Technology, or analytical field
• 4+ years of experience in Fraud Risk Management
• 4+ years of experience in Fraud Forensic or Account Data Compromise Investigations
• 4+ years of experience in Project management managing multiple aspects of a program. Demonstrated solid judgment to plan and accomplish goals working independently.
• In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Information Security Risk Management

Preferred Qualifications

If we had our say, we’d also look for:

• 2+ years of experience in Fraud and/or Data Compromise Investigations
• CFE, PCIP

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $63,500.00 to $107,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
