Medical Assistant - Florence

This is a combined posting for a Medical Assistant and Associate Medical Assistant. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. This will also be a combination of a clinic based position and a floating based position If you have a the qualifications of any one of these three positions, we encourage you to apply.

Associate Medical Assistant 

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training in a clinic setting as a medical assistant
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants or alternate training program
• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
• 6 months Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment
• 6 months Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR)

Associate Medical Assistant Salary Range, Min: $16.50, Max: $23.59

Medical Assistant 

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months Healthcare experience
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification

Medical Assistant Salary Range, Min: $16.74, Max: $25.57

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
