Overview:
40 hours per week, 8-4:30pm M-F, with a monthly (2nd Monday of each month) virtual bariatric support group from 5pm-6pm for which time would be flexed during the week. The social worker in this role will work with an interdisciplinary team caring for pediatric patients through 21 years of age receiving weight management treatment, which may include bariatric surgery. This involves provision of clinical medical social work services that includes supporting families with building & sustaining healthy lifestyle habits, coping & stress management, and overall goal setting.

- Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team and provides Clinical Medical Social Work services to patients and their families to improve or maintain social, emotional, functional and physical health.
- Provides consultation, education, and training to staff regarding psychosocial issues that impact the delivery of optimal health care services.
- Participates in the development and delivery of education, research and continuous quality improvement.
Education Requirement:
MSW, required.
Licensure Requirement:
LSW, required.
LISW, preferred.

2 years clinical social work experience, preferred.
