JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Brandywine’s Psychology Department is seeking a part-time research assistant to assist in supporting various research projects with the Mirmont Treatment Center and Phoenix Center for Experiential Trauma Therapy in Media, PA.

Job Duties

Typical job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting literature reviews.
  • Data collection, management, and analysis.
  • Preparing scholarly manuscripts and presentations.
  • Providing administrative support to the principal investigators on the research project.

Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants must have a:  

  • Bachelor’s degree and relevant coursework in social sciences.
  • Experience with data collection, management, and analysis.
  • Strong organizational, communication, writing, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of collaborative research team.

The schedule for this part-time opening is typically 4 hours per week. This opening will work both on campus and remotely. for full consideration, please submit a completed application, resume and cover letter.
