Your role
As our new Junior Production Control & Logistics Analyst you will play a key role in continuous supply of finished goods to the biggest brands in the automotive market. In your daily job you will be responsible for:
- Finished goods planning between Sils/Warehouses and production locations to ensure the continued flawless production of all customers.
- Prepare long and short term customer schedules, validate customer order and distribute plants.
- Prepare coverage reports and follow supplier/allied plant performance in terms of supplying materials on a timely basis
- Keep inventory within defined limits and meet defined cost model, monitor inventory with daily/weekly/monthly reports. Provide month end forecast for SILS&Warehouse location and update prediction every week considering all impacts during month.
- Aim no unclaimable obsolete at Aptiv Warehouse or SILS and prepare necessary documentation to support management for obsolete and/or premium claim.
- Reconcile inventory on SAP with physical inventory and take necessary action to correct SAP inventory.
- Maintain master data and book invoices based on shipments from suppliers/production plant and to customers on SAP.
- Provide month end forecast for SILS&Warehouse location and update prediction every week considering all impacts during month.
- Access to customer portals in order to upload, download or check data, e.g. schedules, orders for aftersales.
- Participate in creation contingency plan periodically based on extraordinary conditions, agree with Service Center & supplier/allied plant on this plan and adjust PUS accordingly.
Your background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
- University Degree (R) – Technical University and engineering background is preferred (P)
- Language Skills: fluent in speaking, reading and writing English (R)
- Ability to work in multifunctional and multicultural international teams (P)
- Good oral and written communication skills (R)
- High result oriented (R)
- Good computer skills: Experienced in MS Office Applications (R) and SAP (P)
