Responsibilities
The HR Associate Manager supports a client group of Manufacturing and Warehouse employees across the Wytheville Gatorade plant. The role will be the primary HR partner to the Plant Director and their team of ~350 salaried and hourly employees. This role reports directly into the HR Director for the Gatorade Supply Chain team.
As HR Associate Manager for PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA), you will play a pivotal role in supporting HR strategies aligned with business goals, collaborating with business leaders to drive successful outcomes for both the business and its people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute HR Initiatives: Lead and support the implementation of key HR programs, ensuring consistent application of company policies, benefits, and pay across the site.
- Organizational Diagnosis and Solutions: Collaborate with leaders to identify and address organizational challenges, supporting the development of solutions that enhance performance and organizational culture.
- Ensure Legal Compliance: Ensure HR activities comply with all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA).
- Performance Management & Talent Development: Partner with leadership to manage performance processes, build talent pipelines, and support succession planning activities.
- Staffing & Talent Acquisition: Execute staffing strategies for exempt/non-exempt hiring needs, including campus recruiting and continuous outreach.
- Enhance Organizational Health & Culture: Drive site-specific strategies to improve employee engagement and culture, ensuring alignment with PepsiCo’s values. Lead and participate in market and regional D&I initiatives to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Psychology, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Labor Relations, or HR Management is preferred.
- Experience: 4-6 years of prior Human Resources experience, with strong exposure to core aspects of HR Management, including staffing, employee relations, performance management, leadership development, training, etc. Experience in manufacturing, sales, or related industries is preferred. Experience supporting field-based client groups in a manufacturing or distribution center environment is highly desirable.
