The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.

LA28, the organizers for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, is on a mission to create an unparalleled Games experience for athletes, fans, partners, our community and our people. The 2028 Olympics and Paralympics will represent LA and leverage the strength of our community’s diversity and creativity as we collectively work to design a Games that we all want to be a part of. We do this by focusing on people and by inviting everyone into the story of the LA28 Games.

The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Workforce Analyst:

The Workforce Analyst will play a critical role in supporting workforce planning, analysis, and systems support for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This role will focus on data-driven workforce insights, systems integration, and reporting to support strategic decision-making across paid staff, volunteers, and contractor workforce groups. Additionally, the Workforce Analyst will provide analytics support across the broader People Management (PEM) function, ensuring workforce strategies align with organizational goals. 

This position will work closely with workforce planning, HR operations, and technology teams to optimize workforce data models, analyze labor trends, and support the implementation of workforce systems to ensure an efficient and inclusive workforce for the Games.  

The role will report to the Director, Workforce Planning. 

Key Responsibilities:

Workforce Planning & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain workforce analytics dashboards to track staffing projections, workforce composition, and Games-time workforce allocation. 
  • Analyze workforce data trends, including recruitment, retention, scheduling efficiency, and workforce demand forecasting.
  • Generate workforce reports to inform decision-making, ensuring alignment with lifetime headcount planning and Games-time workforce needs.
  • Support the Director, Workforce Planning in modeling workforce scenarios and advising on staffing strategies across functions. 

Systems & Technology Support 

  • Assist in the implementation, testing, and maintenance of workforce management systems to support workforce scheduling, rostering, and accreditation.
  • Serve as a liaison between workforce operations and TEC teams to ensure seamless workforce data integration.
  • Provide training and support to internal users
