Please note definition differences between Intern and Co-op:

Intern:  Student works full-time during the summer

Co-op:  Student works part-time while school is in session. Student may work more hours during the summer if not enrolled in classes. Students may work for a minimum of one semester or longer.

 

Both positions are paid according to current academic standing and job classification.

What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a co-op to join the YII-Venture Scouting Team team located in Plano, Texas.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. 

What you will be doing:

• Create process documentation for Yazaki Innovations, Inc which is a new company and in need of documenting how we do business
• Create presentations for internal and external stakeholder meetings
• Create content and display ideas for CES (Consumers Electronic Show) 2025
• Support project teams with various project related activities, such as task compliance and follow-up
• Support market analysis and business plan creation
• Facilitating requisitions and contract review with Purchasing
• Website content creation and administration

What you will bring to the table:

• Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution at the time of internship targeting  
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a business-related degree
