Job Summary:
The Senior Rail Engineer applies extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices across broad areas of assignments and related fields. This role utilizes advanced techniques to modify or extend theories and practices in sciences and disciplines to complete assignments. The Senior Rail Engineer will work on major projects or multiple projects of moderate scope with complex features.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- CAD Design: Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for rail infrastructure and related components.
- Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of rail design principles to solve complex engineering challenges, including developing detailed construction cost estimates and project specifications.
- Technical Support: Collaborate with a team of engineers to provide technical support in the development of rail projects, ensuring design meets quality and client standards.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data relevant to rail projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with design requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure designs are error-free and meet client standards.
