The Vehicle Infrastructure team develops software deployed across Anduril’s portfolio of robotics systems. The team is responsible for building a common vehicle platform that enables Anduril to bring next generation products to market faster. We believe that taking a platform approach in an industry that historically has shared very little software between products is a critical piece of Anduril’s competitive advantage. We work in close coordination with specialist teams like Perception, Autonomy, and Manufacturing to solve some of the hardest problems facing our customers. We are looking for software engineers and roboticists excited about creating a powerful robotics stack that impacts every one of Anduril’s robotics products.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Own major feature development and rollout of large features for our products - recent examples include building a fault & contingency management system and re-architecting the vehicle telemetry system.
• Write and maintain core systems that all robotics platforms at Anduril will use.
• Work closely with our vehicle software teams during product development, understanding their needs, and delivering high leverage software they are able to use bring their product to market.

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Proven understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and code optimization
• Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems
• Experience working with and testing electrical and mechanical systems
• Strong C++ or Rust experience in a Linux development environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (No minimum requirements, maximum ~5-6 bullet points)

• Experience programming for embedded and physical devices
• Eligible to obtain and hold a US DoD Security Clearance.
• Python, Rust, and/or Go experience
• Multi-agent coordination of UAVs

US Salary Range$210,000—$250,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
