Job Summary
The Sr. Full Stack Engineer – AI/ML designs and develops end-to-end applications that deliver machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities to end-users. This role bridges front-end user experiences, back-end services, and ML model integration, ensuring AI-powered features are intuitive, scalable, and production-ready. The Sr. Full Stack Engineer builds APIs, web/mobile interfaces, and data services that expose ML functionality, while also maintaining robust infrastructure for deployment, monitoring, and iteration. Working closely with data scientists, product managers, and platform teams, the role ensures AI/ML solutions are not only technically sound but also seamlessly embedded into customer-facing products and internal tools. Strong skills in both modern web frameworks and backend systems are essential, alongside a working knowledge of ML services and cloud environments.

Focus: End-to-end user and system experience that exposes ML/AI functionality.

• Builds web/mobile apps, APIs, and front-end interfaces that consume ML services.

• Integrates ML outputs into customer-facing products (e.g., recommendation UIs, chatbots, dashboards).

• Develops both front-end and back-end services to operationalize AI solutions.

• Balances model integration with UX, security, performance, and overall application architecture.

Responsible for leading and contributing to software design, development, and overall product lifecycle for a product that our customers love. In addition to pairing with other engineers and architects, field questions from other product teams and encourage cross- team collaboration. Create foundational code elements that can be reused. Define software level objectives for products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build rapid prototypes to explore viability of solutions fit to product strategy and upon alignment from stakeholders scale the solution and productionize it

• Identifies, implements, and shares technical solutions that can be used across the organization

• Identifies product enhancements (client-facing or technical) to create a better experience for the end users

• Collaborates with Enterprise Architects and with Chief Architecture Owners and creates meaningful architecture diagrams and other documentation needed for security reviews or other interested parties

• Defines service level objectives for product to constantly measure their reliability in production and help prioritize backlog work

• Writes custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases to ensure adequate resiliency in production

• Creates meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure that issues are captured and addressed proactively

• Works with other product teams to create API specifications and contracts for shared data

• Identifies product enhancements (customer-facing or technical) to create a better experience for the end users

• Creates meaningful architecture diagrams and other documentation needed for security reviews or other interested parties

• Provides application support for software running in production

• Proactively monitors production and lower life cycle environments service level objectives for products

• Works with vendors and open source community to help identify and implement feature enhancements in software products

• Works with other product teams to create API specifications and contracts for shared data

• Proactively reviews the performance and capacity of all aspects of production: code, infrastructure, data, and message processing

• Triages high priority issues and outages as they arise

• Integration of AI, ML, and Data Science products into production systems

• Develop APIs that serve Data Science AI/ML models, implement inference pipelines, and integrate external AI services
