Experienced Purchasing Specialist

Your role in a nutshell:

 

The purpose of this role is to perform quote and purchase order processing and to support activities concerning supply chain area. It also aims to identify issues and improvement opportunities and drive resolution with a project thinking.

 

What you'll do:

 

• Performs process analysis and SWOT analysis, showing service level trends and identifying process improvement areas, and determining process improvement goals.
• Reviews, designs and amends internal process documentations. Defines process gaps and addresses them as new demands to the technical support team.
• Creates, builds up and drives projects to lean and streamline processes.
• Provides support to business partners in finding the best ways of solving process issues and sharing best practices.
• Provides professional guidance to team members.
• Keeps the team up-to-date on project progress.
• Gives opportunity to staff members to participate in projects, gives feedback about them to the Team Leader/ Manager for reward and development purposes.
• Plays a crucial role in the induction of new joiners to the team.
• Provides tailor-made training to various stakeholders.

 

 

What you will bring to our team:

 

• Min. 2-3 years of supply chain or sourcing experience in a multinational/SSC environment
• Fluent English language knowledge
• Commercial/ business acumen
• SAP knowledge and analytical skills
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Project management skills
