Responsibilities

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Floats to various offices as assigned to assist physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician. Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

Floating position that offers the opportunity to travel to different physician practices within the Northside Network. This is a great way to gain experience in different specialties and GROW! Please be comfortable floating within a 30 mile radius of Northside Hospital Atlanta.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

 

High School diploma or equivalent

Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

 

Listed on the Georgia Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant

Two (2) year of experience as a Patient Care Technician

Six (6) months of experience as a Patient Care Technician at Northside

Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
