Job Summary
Senior-level campus administrator responsible for administrative oversight for building and implementing a comprehensive personalized HCBE competency-based learning ecosystem for E Ola! including learner growth and evaluation systems and related professional development. Co-leads strategic planning and implementation and reporting. Works with campus executive and senior leaders to plan, implement, monitor and assess the short- and long-range strategic direction of the learning and teaching program. Works collaboratively with campus and instructional leaders to develop strategic priorities including the implementation and oversight of curriculum, instruction, and assessment to ensure K-12 alignment. Provides leadership, strategic planning, oversight, and supervision of K-12 learner outcomes, teacher evaluation, and professional development. In the absence of the Associate Head of School, is responsible for designated responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership, Strategy and Planning
- Serves as a member of the campus executive and senior leadership teams.
- Leads the design and implementation of a comprehensive personalized HCBE competency-based learning ecosystem for E Ola!
- Provides administrative oversight for all-school tasks which are related to curriculum, instruction and assessment.
- Supports the implementation of research-based and culture-based instructional design and strategies.
- Provides leadership in design, direction and implementation of the K-12 teacher growth process and professional development activities aligned to campus priorities. Including identifying training/learning needs and setting professional development priorities.
- In partnership with principals and other instructional leaders, builds agreements and resources for an effective teacher evaluation and growth system. This includes leading collaborative processes for defining teacher competencies and expectations, building leadership capacity for effective teacher supervision, and ensuring high-quality data, including student voice and outcomes, is a part of teacher evaluation and learning.
- Directly supervises staff and provides supervisory oversight for various positions and programs for the campus. Evaluates selected campus positions, including key positions supporting campus-wide learning and teaching initiatives. Supervises and oversees the goal-setting work and may set campus, unit or teacher learning and achievement goals.
- Facilitates and models a cohesive learning community to support campus and school leaders to improve student achievement and the 21st century ‘ōiwi learner and models a high level of instructional leadership that enhances effective instruction and high student achievement.
- Drafts annual strategic plan and quarterly and annual reports for learning and teaching initiatives and related areas and reports progress and outcomes to multiple audiences including education group and enterprise leadership.
