Job Description

Design, build, maintain, and monitor system infrastructure including maintenance of Linux servers and various network devices.

Build configuration management tools and automation techniques to continuously improve the efficiency of system management.

Monitor system performance to maximize uptime and plan for growth.

Recommend and implement standards, procedures, and controls to ensure the security and reliability of infrastructure.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Four years of professional Linux system administration experience.

Professional experience with programming or scripting languages such as bash, Python, Go or similar.

Professional experience installing and maintaining physical and/or virtual servers.

Networking concepts, protocols, and services.

One or more common configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Configuration and management of cloud infrastructure.

Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
