Our Bolt and Cruise Origin automated platforms enable Cruise to offer meaningful improvements to our communities and the customers we serve. We are looking for an incredible software engineer with the passion to develop a reliable AV Platform.

You would work cross-functionally with the different Cruise teams and occasionally partners on the GM and Honda teams, to help pragmatically work on these challenges and enable the successful delivery of these products

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Develop and maintain a generative framework for IPC style AV software stack.

• Hands-on C++ development of IPC and Middleware software.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

• Hands-on experience in develop software in C++

• Experience with generative C++ frameworks

• Experience in shared memory and network transport

• Expert in multi-threading and process scheduling

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Proven ability to work on large, multi-party programs 

• Familiar with formal development processes and ability to develop to these

• Knowledge of linux-based operating systems

• Familiarity with OEM vehicle development processes

The salary range for this position is $193,900 - $285,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
