About the role

As a delivery driver you will be responsible for the safe, secure and prompt transfer of products within your assigned area of responsibility. Professional public interaction and superior driving habits are essential as a representative of the company driving a commercialized vehicle. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Team-Player who will be able to cross-collaborate with the Service, Counter Parts and Warehouse teams.
  • Load and unload parts from a vehicle with appropriate assistance.
  • Stay in contact with dispatch.
  • Keep delivery vehicle neat and orderly.
  • Use of a forklift.
  • Take overflow customer calls.
  • Maintain all facets of inventory flow.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
  • Perform light maintenance on and cleaning of parts vehicles.
  • Additional Duties as Assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

  • Activities require a full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. 
  • The position may require standing, balancing, bending, or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 80 pounds.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Good standing MVR.
  • Fork-Lift Certified or the ability to obtain Fork-Lift Certification.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Proven ability to work well on a team.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work any shift if needed.
  • Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

  • Compensation Range: $18 - $22

  • Shift: 1st (Monday - Friday)
