Senior Accountant

In the role of Senior Accountant, we are needing a motivated and goal-oriented expert to support monthly financial close, analyze ledger activity, and contribute to global process standardization for a growing organization.  This position will be responsible for Intercompany process and reconciliation, process reviews, and ERP data integrity reviews for all Flavor & Extract Business Units.  Exposure to International Accounting teams, Milwaukee Corporate teams, and the US Shared Service teams.

 

What you will do:

• Support Month End close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Responsible for OneStream system maintenance.
• Responsible for revenue recognition process
• Be able to review AR Reserves
• Be responsible for reviewing the JDE integrity reports and following up on issues
• Provide analytical support for the Accounting Manager.
• Prepare and maintain written documentation.
• Develop reports to Corporate as necessary.
• Support Internal and External audits.
• Actively participate in special projects and ad-hoc requests. Exposure to foreign currencies.

What you will bring:

• B.S. Degree in Accounting
• 7-10 years of financial accounting or related experience
• Self-starter with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and team player. 
• Outstanding communication and business collaborating skills.
• Ability to work methodically and logically when diagnosing a problem
• Proven ability to accept accountability and show initiative.
• Experience with ERP systems, JDE preferred  
• Advanced Excel skills / ability to work with large data files
