As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your customer service skills will support positive interactions throughout the facility. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon09:45 PM - 06:00 AMSat01:45 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You’ll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and/or patients as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe for irregularities and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement when needed to address security-related concerns on the premises.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
- Act as a visible Allied Universal representative, assisting with access control and providing directions or information to staff, visitors, and patients as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
