<p><u><b>Summary</b></u></p><p><u><b>Job Description:</b></u></p><p><b><span>Ultrasound/Vascular/Radiography</span> Tech</b></p><p><b>Full Time, M-F 8:00a-4:30p</b></p><p></p><p>Under the direction of a radiologist, cardiologist or vascular surgeon, performs diagnostic sonographic procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment.</p><p></p><p><b><u>Job Duties:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Transfers and properly positions patients for examinations in order to obtain desired radiographic results according to physicians’ specifications.</p></li><li><p>Reviews patient chart and results of previous diagnostic studies and records patient’s personal and medical information.</p></li><li><p>Selects appropriate equipment and proper technical factors on an individual patient basis according to specific orders and part of body to be examined.</p></li><li><p>Uses film markers correctly and consistently and adheres to prescribed standard for Radiation Safety.</p></li></ul><p><b><u>Requirements:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Must have completed a Radiography Program and Sonography Program.</p></li><li><p>ARRT (R) Registered or eligible (must obtain ARRT registry within the Kentucky state licensing mandates).</p></li><li><p>Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is required.</p></li><li><p>Must be ARDMS registered in Diagnostic Ultrasound and Vascular or registry eligible.
