Senior Cloud Architect (TS/SCI)

SSI is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect (TS/SCI) to support our customer in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include:·       Supports development, acquisition, execution, and management of the SDA’s government-owned, contractor-operated cloud environments.·       Develop government reference cloud architectures and cost estimates to support the SDA’s Cloud roadmap initiatives. ·       Anticipate future needs and design scalable architectures.·       Serves as the primary cloud subject matter expert for the SDA T3 program and supports the execution of Ground Segment contracts.·       Works with cloud engineers, developers, and external stakeholders to make certain cloud solutions meet SDA’s requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in cloud computing, including authentication methods and encryption standards.
• Knowledge of cloud application frameworks.
• Technical and analytic understanding of satellite and ground system interaction.
• Self-motivated, quick-thinking, and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• TS Clearance required. Must be able to obtain/maintain SCI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM or related discipline.
• 10 years’ experience in cloud environments and associated elements.
