DigitalOptometrics LLC is a leading and rapidly growing nationwide telehealth company specializing in providing software and services to eye care professionals engaged in the performance of quality comprehensive eye examinations on patients of those rendering optometric health services in private industry and government. We seek to employ a full-time experienced Cost Accountant with a primary work location at the company's corporate office in Lake Success, N.Y.

Objective:

Perform a strategic role to help management make critical and strategic decisions. Investigate company cost of operations for the rendering of company services; report to senior management for budgetary, pricing and cost analysis purposes; and determine accurate cost information to permit management to make informed decisions for appropriate value pricing policies, address areas to implement cost reduction and improve cost efficiency while rendering quality services.

Experience Desired:

• Bachelor of Science degree in accounting
• Strong accounting knowledge and detail orientated.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in cost accounting.
• Proficient in accounting software, data collection and analytical skills.
• Apply financial and accounting skills.
• Detail orientated.
• Operations and research experience.
• Tech-savviness and technical proficiencies.
• Communication collaboration, interpersonal and presentation skills.
