Work You’ll Do
- Utilizes automated capabilities to assess risk to DODIN assets
- Assists in identifying and prioritizing requirements for capability development efforts
- Analyzes proposed capabilities, recommends COAs, and develops solutions to address areas of concern for shortfalls
- Develops, maintains, and automates metrics to assess USCYBERCOM operational Measure of Effective and Performance (MOE/MOP)
- Develops concept papers, technical white papers, and related documentation detailing cyber security practices for implementation throughout DOD
- Conducts research that focuses on rapidly emerging cyber threats and cyber adversary TTPs and drafts countermeasure assessments based on threats
- Collaborates with internal and external partners to facilitate cyber SA and information sharing
- Assesses the development of cyberspace capabilities to validate USCYBERCOM requirements

Our Cyber Defense & Resilience offering assists clients in defending against advanced threats by transforming security operations, monitoring technology, data analytics, and threat intelligence. Helps manage and protect dynamic attack surfaces and provides rapid crisis and cyber incident response, ensuring clients can be ready for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required. (Additional four (4) years of job-related experience may be substituted for education requirement).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph required.
- Must be local to Ft Mead with the ability to be onsite up to 5 days a week.
- 5+ years of experience in developing recommendations and COAs to solve complex cybersecurity problems to include:
- Coordinating network defense operations with DOD Component Commands / Services / Agencies / Field Activities or Intelligence Agencies or Law Enforcement or U.S. Government organizations.
- Performing research and analysis of cybersecurity capabilities to satisfy data protection requirements.
- Demonstrating expertise on the lifecycle of the network threats, attack vectors and methods of exploitation, the utilization, configuration, and implementation of industry capabilities including web content filters, email security capabilities, Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System Security Event and Incident Management, Domain Name System security practices, advanced log analysis, network monitoring, network proxies, firewalls, and Access Control Lists, malware analysis reports, and alerts regarding potential malicious activity.
- Coordination and support on cyber-related incidents and issues to include Malware Analysis Reports, Alerts regarding potential malicious activity, and Suspicious Contact Reports.
- Identifying and developing solutions, methods, and guidance for securing U.S. interests in cyberspace and developing white papers, reports, and presentations addressing these solutions
- Identifying and drafting mitigation strategies for network boundary vulnerabilities, to enable the security and integrity of interests in cyberspace.
- Engaging with FCC or DIB on network protection.
- Developing Memorandums of Understanding / Memorandums of Agreement
