Victim Services Project Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. 

On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of client mission. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint, and regular interactions with grant managers and project analysts.

You Have: 

  • 2+ years of experience working in American Indian or Alaskan Native communities

  • Experience working in the areas of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, child abuse and neglect, elder abuse, financial, mass casualty, missing or murdered Indigenous people, victim advocacy, or victim rights

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in the victim services field, or 9+ years of experience in the victim services field in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with training or technical assistance projects on a regional or national level

  • Experience developing or delivering training or technical assistance

  • Experience managing Federal grants

  • Knowledge of victim service organizations serving American Indian or Alaskan Native communities
