Distribution Quality Consultant

What you need to know:

  • The Distribution Quality Consultant will report directly to the Head of Distribution Quality, with a primary objective to support them in leading the strategies that manage and improve the quality of business received from both Intermediaries and Partnerships within Individual Protection, whilst working collaboratively across the business to ensure alignment to drive commercial value through optimal management of distribution

  • The role of the Distribution Quality Consultant is integral to provide the administrative, data review/analysis and performance reporting of business critical tasks and functions of the Distribution Quality team, whilst providing direct support and insight to the two Distribution Quality Account Managers.

  • Working as part of a small team, you will proactively monitor and manage a number of internal metrics and data sets as well as internal and external intelligence based data, to ensure any potential financial, customer or conduct risks are identified early, supporting in the development, oversight and delivery of clear action plans which deliver quantifiable change and risk mitigation.

  • The Distribution Quality Consultant will work collaboratively with the Individual Protection team, Credit Risk, Agency and Compliance in the main, with occasion engagement with other business areas as required.

  • Whilst the role is office/home based in the main, occasional travel may be required at the discretion of management.

What we’re looking for:

  • A good understanding of the financial services marketplace including distribution and regulation.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the sales regulatory environment, including appropriate sections of the FCA Consumer Duty.

  • Graduate caliber who is numerate and articulate and displays good relationship management skills.

  • Organised and methodical, possessing strong administration skills.

  • An effective communicator, both verbal and written.
