Production Manager

Krzeszowice | 100% | Unlimited

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to join our Operations Department at Huber+Suhner Polatis.


In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and timely delivery of products. You will lead a team of professionals, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support our operational and strategic goals.

Responsibilites:

  • Develop and implement production strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Analyze production KPIs and implement performance improvements.
  • Manage and develop the production team, including Shift Supervisors.
  • Oversee quality control to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Plan and manage the production budget, including cost analysis and investment planning.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Department to ensure material availability.
  • Lead and support the implementation of production systems (e.g., MES).
  • Ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Act as deputy to the Operations Director when required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment (preferably in electronics).
  • Higher technical education in electronics, automation, or optics.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced technologies and production automation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English.
  • Knowledge of quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO 9001, CE, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001).
  • Proven project management experience in production environments.
  • Proficiency in LEAN tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in international work environments.
  • Familiarity with Polish industrial safety regulations and ergonomic principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
