The Opportunity:

As an acquisition management professional, you know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to your clients’ missions. We’re looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government. Bring your passion to support pre- and post-award federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation. 

As a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to impact our country’s defense acquisition and contract process. On our team, you’ll draft full RFP packages, including the end-to-end contracts lifecycle of identifying requirements, Statements of Objectives, Statements of Work, contract administration, and COR support.  

You’ll complete procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You’ll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll deliver meaningful acquisition support.

You Have: 

• 3+ years of experience in contract management
• Knowledge of Federal and Defense Acquisition Regulations, policies, and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian leadership
• Secret clearance 
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Contracting

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with US Navy contract management
• Knowledge of US Navy and NAVSEA policies and procedures
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing acquisition environments
• Master's degree a plus
• CFCM or DAU Contracting certification

  

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
