ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Operates independently to support information technology initiatives through the lifecycle of enterprise applications.
- Works closely with R&D, Information Security, Applications Development, and other Operations teams to support initiatives.
- Creates documentation that is easily consumed by other technical teams to support deployed solutions.
- Captures application functions and system requirements in a design document that clearly identifies all aspects which make up the service/application.
- Provides subject matter expertise and elevated operational support to resolve incidents related to storage, servers, cloud services, and applications.
- Provides training of pertinent documentation and procedures to other technical teams.
- Effectively monitor performance and functionality of enterprise class ITS infrastructure and applications.
- Following Terumo BCT ITIL processes, the position may lead problem investigation teams pulling in necessary resources, documenting analysis, and following through on recommended solutions.
- Works on an agile team in accordance with Agile project management methodologies to achieve tasks.
- Ensures all datacenter endpoints are aligned and in compliance with corporate Cybersecurity requirements.
- Will act as technical lead and systems liaison on ITS projects and other initiatives.
- Provides technical leadership during incidents (outages), and regular maintenance activities.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shares on-call rotation responsibility with team members for 24-hour problem resolution.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or, equivalent education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Experience
Minimum 5 -7 years of experience
- Deployment and maintenance of enterprise class hardware, Microsoft server operating systems and enterprise applications, services, and protocols within an enterprise (500+ server) environment.
- Integrations with 3rd party COTS and custom developed applications.
- Recent experience with cloud services, platforms, and infrastructure.
- Experience deploying and managing a diverse set of services including Active Directory, Group Policy, SQL management, MS Clustering, F5, IIS, Infoblox, DNS, DHCP, Antivirus, backup and recovery, security applications, etc...
- Administration of virtualization technology, specifically use and administration of a VMware environment.
- Familiarity with creating concise, professional, and easily consumable documentation.
- Experience managing and maintaining cloud applications and resources such as Azure Active Directory (AAD), O365 suite, Exchange in a hybrid environment, enterprise registrations, and Azure foundational resources (subscriptions, resource groups, access control, budgets, etc.).
- Implementation and management of external SAN and NAS storage arrays (preferably NetApp and Pure).
- Design, implementation, and management of Windows Active Directory domains, sites, users, groups, policies, replication topology, schema, logons scripts, and profiles.
