You have examples of the business impact your tenure has driven and you are proud to share those achievements. You have a high level of emotional intelligence, a drive for continuous growth and improvement, and the charisma and charm to command a room. You will prioritize understanding the details of the business and not just abdicate responsibility to direct reports. You are a true player/coach who knows when to delegate, and when to get your hands dirty.

About The Role:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a pivotal member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the company’s operations and ensuring the effective execution of our strategic goals. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the COO will play a critical role in scaling our operations, optimizing performance, and leading our transition from an early-stage startup to a later-stage SaaS company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Strategy and Execution

  • Execute CEO’s vision and strategy for future growth.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s mission and values.
  • Design and deploy best in class business operational policies that will drive our business and culture forward. 
  • Oversee the daily operations of the company and the work of executives in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Human Resources, and Finance departments.
  • Oversee and help reinforce the behaviors that make up our culture and values and hold people accountable when they do not.

 Leadership and Management:

  • Direct reporting structure will be based on the candidate's experience but may include all operational business unit owners and include some dotted line reporting.
  • Grow, lead, motivate and operationalize leaders to foster employee engagement and develop a high-performing management team.
  • Provide mentoring and support to team members, encouraging collaboration and innovation.
  • Analyze and interpret performance data and metrics

SaaS Growth and Development:

  • Leverage experience in scaling SaaS operations from early to later stages.
  • Implement strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth.
  • Optimize subscription models and pricing strategie
