As the only full-service, fully-integrated, science-focused firm that unites global marketing, communications, and media under a single P&L, we specialize in going beyond the science quo to deliver best-in-class work for our clients.The Senior Manager of Marketing & Corporate Communications is responsible for executing and coordinating integrated marketing and communication initiatives that support Spectrum’s business objectives, strengthen brand presence, and engage both external and internal audiences. Key focus areas of this role include hands-on implementation of external marketing campaigns (digital, social, content marketing, events) to drive brand awareness and business growth, as well as supporting internal communications programs that inform and inspire employees. The Senior Manager ensures that all marketing and corporate communications efforts are aligned with Spectrum’s mission and values, maintaining a consistent voice and high quality across channels and materials.This role requires a versatile and proactive communicator who is comfortable switching between creative content creation and analytical project management. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with team members and cross-functional partners to deliver cohesive campaigns and messaging. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, collaborative self-starter who can juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Work closely with colleagues across the marketing & communications team and other departments (e.g. HR, pillars, shared services) to coordinate campaigns and messages, fostering a “one team” approach.
- Develop a working knowledge of Spectrum’s services, solutions, and industry (healthcare and life science) to ensure marketing and communications content accurately reflects our business offerings and value proposition.
- Craft clear, engaging content for a variety of platforms – such as social media posts, website updates, press releases and presentations – tailoring the tone and format to suit each audience while maintaining a consistent Spectrum voice.
- Contribute to Spectrum’s marketing automation strategy and toolset, helping to build processes and manage targeted marketing campaigns that support enterprise/pillar growth goals.
- Support development of Spectrum industry awards strategy and manage ongoing awards process, including submission coordination, event management/attendance and results reporting throughout the year.
- Manage Spectrum’s social media channels and editorial content planning for Spectrum’s “Perspectives” blog, exploring new tools and techniques to drive engagement.
- Support internal communications initiatives including Spectrum Sync and Take 5 newsletters, Spectrum Sync LIVE monthly staff meeting and periodic enterprise events.
- Develop and manage content for Spectrum intranet, ensuring timely updates and news are shared with employees; experience with SharePoint preferable.
- Maintain internal team trackers and planning documents.
- Analyze engagement data and feedback critically to discern what’s working and what isn’t, and use those insights to adjust tactics for better outcomes in future initiatives.
- 2-3 years of experience in a Marketing and Communications Role; Healthcare Communications experience a plus
- Proficiency in social media platforms and channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X
- Has some level of proficiency in (or is interested in learning) marketing and communications tools/platforms (i.e. SharePoint; CRM; Canva).
- Ability to excel both in a collaborative team environment and when working independently, often under tight deadlines.
- Builds strong cross-functional relationships and works effectively with colleagues across various departments, influencing outcomes through trust and clear communication.
- Balances creative thinking with practical execution, maintaining attention to detail while keeping broader campaign goals in mind.
