Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Financial literacy – ability to understand and make independent, sound financial decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
  • Critical thinking/analytical skills – ability to interpret data, identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Attention to detail and accountability
  • Organizational skills and time management – ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Strong communication skills – ability to articulate professionally, clearly and concisely, in both written and verbal formats

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related program ideal.

Job Summary

Position provides comprehensive accounting and financial functions within the College of NTID. Performs analyses, supports audit engagements and/or management self-assessment activities, reconciles transactions, and generates reports to assist NTID management in decision-making, while ensuring compliance with university policies and regulations. Ensures accuracy and timeliness in all accounting and financial activities, seeking opportunities to enhance operational and financial effectiveness.
