Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a Transportation Senior Project Manager with TxDOT design experience, in PS&E or Schematics, for immediate employment in the Houston office.

• Directs and managers the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface. 
• Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. 
• Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout. 
• Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education,

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• 15+ years of previous design experience on transportation projects, including Schematic Development and PS&E
• Professional Engineer (PE) in TX or Other states
• Be Team oriented
• Experience designing highway/roadway systems
• Experience with any of the following software: MicroStation, GEOPAK, or OpenRoads
• Familiar with MS Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, Project)
• Must be a team player
• TxDOT Pre-certifications
• Good communication skills
• 4 year of leadership experience

Additional Information

Offered rate of compensation in Houston, Texas will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $160,000. - $200,000.
