Job Title: Global Process Owner – Warehouse and Logistics
Overview:
The GPO WH & LOG plays a pivotal role in defining the strategic direction, design, continuous improvement, and ownership of global Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, and Logistics Execution processes. This position is accountable for developing and maintaining standardized processes aligned with FMC’s strategic imperatives and digital roadmap. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, Reports & Analytics, IT, and Finance to ensure consistency and excellence across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Blueprint Design & Governance:
- Develop, own, and maintain global, regional, and local blueprint designs for Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, and Logistics Execution.
- Actively assess proposed S4 changes/enhancements for business value and impact across regions and functions.
- Lead the development and approval of business cases for technical and process improvements via the Governance Council, IT, and relevant stakeholders.
Process Implementation & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead complexity reduction initiatives in Logistics, aligned with FMC’s Blueprint and project timelines.
- Design and implement a global inventory cycle count process that meets internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure ownership, documentation, and robust training for end-to-end inventory management processes, including system and non-system components.
- Increase the utilization of systems and reports to monitor performance, troubleshoot deviations, and drive root cause elimination.
Sustainability & Documentation:
- Deploy, measure, and ensure the sustainability of newly developed or revised processes.
- Develop comprehensive job aides, training materials, and process documentation to support adoption and long-term success.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Super User Network:
- Partner with Line Management to establish and sustain a Super User network for Warehouse and Logistics processes.
- Serve as a key liaison with IT to align SAP module functionality with business needs and ensure optimal utilization.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, supply chain, or a related field.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience with SAP Warehouse Management and Logistics modules.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, measure, control, and continuously improve business processes.
- Practical expertise in warehouse operations, inventory cycle count processes, and logistics execution (both intracompany and intercompany).
- Proven experience leading process improvement initiatives at country, regional, or global levels.
- Strong project management capabilities, with a track record of delivering multiphase projects within budget and timelines.
- Solid financial acumen with the ability to conduct routine cost-benefit analyses.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 15%.
