Job Description:

The Small Fruit Horticulture Lab at the University of Florida is recruiting team members for our blueberry harvest season. We are seeking to fill twelve part-time OPS positions to assist with harvest and post-harvest data collection between February 15th and May 30th.

Expected Salary:

$13 to $15 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will be able to:

  • Work one or more of these shifts
    • Shift 1: Tuesday 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM
    • Shift 2: Wednesday 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM
    • Shift 3: Thursday 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM
    • Shift 4: Friday 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM
  • Work outdoors in warm and humid weather conditions
  • Harvest, lift, and move up to 25 lb of blueberries
  • Follow simple laboratory protocols
