Description

The scribe performs medical record documentation and clerical duties to increase provider effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity for improved patient flow and satisfaction.

To be considered, your availability must allow for you to work the following shift needs. You must be able to work the full duration of the shift time. (If your schedule does not allow for you to fulfill the shift needs, please reapply at a later time once your schedule is more open). Cannot have weekends only, but have at least 2+ shifts throughout the week as well.

Shift Needs:

** Must be able to commute to Bryan and College Station locations

*** Part-Time 2-3 shifts per week, 16-24 hours per week (any 2-3 days a week)

*** Part Time Flex 3-5 shifts per week, 24-40 hours per week(any 3-4 days a week)

Shift Need #1: Part Time, Monday - Sunday, 7:00 AM -7:00 PM (will be scheduled for either a 7am-1pm, 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm, OR 1pm-7pm, not a full 12-hour shift) 

Shift Need #2: Part Time Flex, Monday - Sunday, 7:00 AM -7:00 PM (will be scheduled for either a 7am-1pm, 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm, OR 1pm-7pm, not a full 12-hour shift) 

Shift Need #3: Part Time, Monday - Sunday, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM (will be scheduled for either a 11a-5pm, 1pm-7pm, 3pm-11pm, OR 5p-11pm, not a full 12-hour shift) 

Shift Need #4: Part Time Flex, Monday - Sunday, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM (will be scheduled for either a 11a-5pm, 1pm-7pm, 3pm-11pm, OR 5p-11pm, not a full 12-hour shift) 

Shift Need #5: Part Time, Monday - Sunday, 3:00 pm - 3:00 AM (will be scheduled for either a 3pm-11pm, 5pm-1am, 5p-11pm, OR 7pm-1am, not a full 12-hour shift) 

Shift Need #6: Part Time Flex, Monday - Sunday, 3:00 pm - 3:00 AM (will be scheduled for either a 3pm-11pm, 5pm-1am, 5p-11pm, OR 7pm-1am, not a full 12-hour shift) 

Shift Need #7: Part Time, Monday - Sunday, 7:00 PM -7:00 AM (will be scheduled for either a 7pm-1am, OR 11pm-7am, not a full 12-hour shift) 

Shift Need #8: Part Time Flex, Monday - Sunday, 7:00 PM -7:00 AM (will be scheduled for either a 7pm-1am, OR 11pm-7am, not a full 12-hour shift)

College Station:

• 7am-1 pm
• 1pm-7pm
• 7pm-1am

Bryan:

• 7am-3pm
• 9am-5pm
• 5pm-1am
• 3pm-11pm
• 11pm-7am

Weekends

• 11a-5pm
• 5p-11pm

*** Part Time Flex 3-5 shifts per week, 24-40 hours per week

Essential duties include:

• Preparing and assembling medical record documentation/charts to support healthcare providers
• Entering the patient room with the physician during patient visit to capture and transcribe medical record documentation utilizing electronic medical record applications
• Thoroughly updating all components of the patient's medical record at the direction of the physician
• At the direction of the physician, updates all components of the patient's medical record including subjective and objective information, physical exam, and any other pertinent clinical information
• Preparing and sending all documentation to physician for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures
• Collaborating with healthcare staff to efficiently monitor basic lab results and screening procedures
• Monitor duration of lab test and follow up as necessary
• Ensure accurate documentation in patient record
• Supporting compliance with hospital and ProScribe policies
• Understand and maintain HIPAA regulations
• Understand and maintain Joint Commission standards
• Understand applicable policies for assigned site
• Understand ProScribe policies as related to specific role
• Demonstrating professionalism through adherence to ProScribe’s attendance policies at assigned facility
