Responsibilities:
- Thorough Data Analysis: Delve deep into data sourced from supermarkets, drugstores, perfumery stores, petrol stations, and liquor stores to analyze sales trends within specific FMCG categories.
- Insight Generation: Analyze shifts in market shares within various FMCG categories and elucidate the factors driving these changes. Uncover valuable insights into consumer behavior by addressing pivotal questions such as why certain categories experience fluctuations in sales. Whether it's due to shifts in consumer preferences, changes in the competitive landscape, adjustments in pricing strategies, or variations in promotional tactics, your analyses will provide clarity. Effectively communicate these insights to our clients through compelling presentations.
- Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with colleagues to identify and seize commercial opportunities within FMCG categories. Your contributions to team projects aimed at deciphering consumer trends across categories will be invaluable in steering strategic decision-making.
- Account Management: Manage relationships with key accounts, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring client satisfaction. Proactively identify opportunities for growth and address any concerns or issues raised by clients.
Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent oral and written proficiency in both Dutch and English languages.
- Holds a degree in Business Economics/Administration, Marketing Management/Analytics/Intelligence, or a related field.
- Displays a genuine interest in marketing and products retailed in supermarkets and drug stores.
- Possesses advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI is considered a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in market research within the FMCG sector, including roles in category management, trade marketing, or account management.
- Possesses a valid driver's license, as visiting clients is required.
