Summary
SRP (Salt River Project) is seeking an initiative-taking, highly skilled Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the absolute best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline with diversity. We are seeking someone with full cycle recruiting experience, specifically with hourly and union roles, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing, assessing, and hiring top talent.
This successful Talent Acquisition Partner will be a consultant and partner to the business, guiding them throughout the process, advising on the talent market, discussing industry trends, providing recommendations and solutions, and proactively identifying future hiring needs. All while partnering closely with SRP’s Labor Relations team to ensure compliance in all staffing initiatives.
You will be highly skilled at attracting candidates using various sources, such as social media networks, company database, employee referrals, as well as identifying other tools that are position specific.
Create, drive, and participate in numerous and various TA and HR related projects setting the team and organization up for immediate and future successes. What You'll Do
- Partner and consult the business/stakeholders to understand hiring needs and drive success throughout the end-to-end recruiting process
- Work closely with the Labor Relations team to stay current on union rules and regulations to ensure compliance in staffing practices
- Recruit and hire internal and external candidates for hourly and salary roles ensuring all compliance and regulatory items are followed
- Be a thought leader providing ideas and solutions to improve our recruiting operations
- Manages, prioritizes, and executes top talent hiring across a variety of roles leveraging the talent acquisition team members and tools for success
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, offer, negotiations, and close
- Participates in various TA and SRO projects striving for successful outcomes
- Updates job knowledge and identifies industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
- Takes active measures to attract and recruit diverse talent to build a workforce representative of the communities we serve
- Represents and champions an organization’s culture, mission, and values as the first point of contact for candidates and promote SRP as a ‘best place to work”
- Assist in mentoring, training, and developing fellow TA team members
