JOB OVERVIEW:

This role is with Pegasus Captive Management, a division of EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, provides comprehensive captive insurance and risk management solutions to organizations across a wide range of industries. Pegasus specializes in the formation, licensing, and ongoing management of captive insurance companies, offering end‑to‑end services that support each phase of a captive’s lifecycle.

Pegasus is hiring a Client Services Specialist. The Client Services Specialist plays a critical role in supporting client account teams by delivering high-quality administrative, accounting, and business development support throughout the client lifecycle. This position is responsible for coordinating renewal and new business processes, maintaining accurate client and financial records, preparing client-facing and governance deliverables, and supporting revenue, invoicing, and payment workflows.

This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is interested in building a long-term career in insurance, risk management, or financial services. The Client Services Specialist serves as a key operational and administrative partner to producers, account executives, and leadership, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency across client engagements.

 

LOCATION: Salt Lake City, Utah - This is a work from home role HOWEVER, qualified candidates must live in the Salt Lake City, UT valley & be willing & able to go to the Salt Lake City post office once or twice a week to pick up Pegasus' mail from the company's PO Box.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strongly preferred: Individuals with at least 2+ years of experience working in the insurance industry in some capacity.
  • Eagerness to grow! This role provides a great opportunity for employees to learn and grow in their insurance career.
  • Candidates with strong, professional communication skills – both written and verbal. Ideal candidates can successfully pivot between providing detailed and accurate written communication, as well as picking up the phone and having a detailed verbal conversation.
  • Strong administrative skills - a majority of this role will be performing administrative tasks - from scanning documents, to issuing COI's & endorsements, to taking meeting minutes, to tracking reports. It's the perfect opportunity for individuals who enjoy a variety of responsibilities!
  • High attention to detail, and the ability to learn and understand software systems quickly.
  • Candidates who adapt well to priority changes, deadlines, and can multi-task and manage projects well.
  • Positive and outgoing disposition, eager to work as a team but also functions well working independently.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):

  • Coordinate and manage timelines for new business onboarding and annual renewal cycles, ensuring adherence to internal standards and client expectations.
  • Support exposure data collection, quote specifications, collateral analysis, and preparation of renewal and new business proposals.
